Supervision

Teams will be allocated an academic supervisor and will possibly also receive input from a project sponsor.

Supervisors will be responsible for:

1. Answering queries about the team timeline and assessment;
2. Helping the team to identify and scope their project;
3. Providing feedback on draft deliverables provided they have sufficient notice;
4. Providing suggestions and general direction to technical aspects of the project (which may involve identifying additional staff colleagues to consult on specific aspects).

Supervisors will not be expected to:

1. Provide solutions to specific technical aspects;
2. Police team performance or adherence to schedules;
3. Provide last-minute feedback on deliverables (e.g. one or two days before a deadline).
